Letter from Rector

Welcome and thanks for visiting our site.

One of the nicest things people say when visiting Holy Nativity is “that it feels like a good place.” I take that to mean the people visiting with us recognize us as a healthy, happy and growing family of Christian seekers. That is who we are and I hope the following pages give you a glimpse into our lives together.

Each of us is called to ministry in the name of the risen Christ. At Holy Nativity you are invited to find your place in that ministry. As Episcopalians, we believe we are called to gather as a community of faith to worship and receive the sacraments. Yet, we’re also called to gather beyond just Sunday mornings. We are called to gather in ministry, outreach and in prayer.

At Holy Nativity, we believe we are called to learn. We are called to learn the language of scripture, liturgy, tradition and reason. We stake our claim as a safe place to discern God’s will and where difficult questions can be explored.

As Episcopalians, we believe we are called to invest in ministry because each of us is called to ministry. We are invited to find our places at the table where our time, talent and riches serve to further God’s kingdom in this place we call home.

At Holy Nativity, we believe we are called to give our faith away by word and deed. We are called to be evangelists, to share the story and to serve as Christ’s hands and feet in the world.

Whatever your interest, we hope you’ll find these pages helpful in discerning Christ’s call to you. You’ll find active and dynamic programs for all ages and we’d love to have you become a part.

God love you,

Father Steve
