Backpack Buddies
This group meets weekly during the school year to provide food bags to students in need at a local school. To help, please contact Marla Churchill and Barbara Knowles.

Laundry Love
Every 4th Thursday at Total Laundry on 11th St. at 3:30, this mission supplies detergent, dryer sheets, and coins for those in need, as well as providing snacks, water, and activities for children. Monetary donations are always accepted, and to help please contact Cheryl Duffey.

St. Andrew's Community Suppers (SACS)
SACS serves those in our community suffering from food insecurities. Partnering with other churches, HNEC meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church from 3-7PM to prepare and serve approximately 200 meals each month. Please contact Mary Bonham to participate.

This mission includes collecting and organizing food items for distribution to local families.
Annual Missions

Pig Roast for Camp Beckwith
The Pereira family generously roasts a pig at the church, and others bring sides and desserts to raise money for Camp Beckwith, the diocesan camp and conference center. To see how to help, please contact Ivan Pereira.

Steak and Bake for Wilmer Hall
This is an annual steak dinner event at the church that raises funds for Wilmer Hall, our diocesan women's and children's home. The dinner is typically in the spring- to find out how to help, please contact Hercules Pettis.
