Dear Friends,

Grace and peace to you, and welcome to Holy Nativity Episcopal Church. I am glad you have found your way here.

My name is Forbes Sirmon, and I have the joy of serving as rector of this parish. From the moment my family and I arrived at Holy Nativity, we experienced the warmth, generosity, and genuine hospitality of this community. It is my hope that you will experience those same things here.

Holy Nativity is a church rooted in the rich tradition of the Episcopal Church and open to the movement of the Holy Spirit among us. We gather to worship God, receive grace, ask honest questions, care for one another, and serve our neighbors. We come from different places and carry different stories, but we are drawn together by the love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.

Whether you are visiting for the first time, returning to church after some time away, or searching for a spiritual home, please know that there is a place for you here. You do not need to have everything figured out before you walk through the doors. Come as you are, and know that you will be welcomed.

I would be delighted to meet you on a Sunday morning, at one of our weekly parish gatherings, or over a cup of coffee. Wherever you are on your journey of faith, I hope Holy Nativity can be a place where you encounter God’s grace, find companions for the road ahead, and learn more fully what it means to love God and love your neighbor—trusting always that God loves you and is infinitely more concerned with your future than your past.
